Happy Hallowe'en!
This was perhaps the best shot of the seal that I got. Sweet... ^_^
Just some pretty leaves I chanced upon.
The Spectacled Bear is always a spectacle to behold. ^.~ Not really, the poor honey was actually in a habitat at the very end of a dead end road with nothing pointing his location out. Poor dear.
For the most part, the animals were most cooperative. Especially the usually-recalcitrant pandas that never let you get a glimpse of even one of them, less both of them at the same time!! Ah, i love the zoom on my camera...
I took many interesting pictures at the National Zoo; the digital camera has forever sank its hooks deep into my soul as my medium of choice. Well, that is, until I get the Minolta Maxx5 for Christmas. ^_^
My trip to the national zoo, in photo form. Voila.
Mums, again.
Mums, mums, glorious mums... I need to get more variety in my pictures.
I just like clouds. So sue me.
Raindrops on mums... I risked my camera to get that shot. I'm glad it turned out.
More yellow mums. You think I'm getting a bit repetative...?
I didn't realize that Oriental/Asiatic lilies still bloomed in October here in Maryland... What a revelation for me.
Lumin's Photos! Photos by a photographer who has no clue what she's doing, but likes photography anyway. (Isn't that the definition of an amateur? Most likely.) Most of the pictures on this blog were taken with a Sony 5.0 megapixel digital camera, but if I go back in my archives ('cause I have a lot of photos not displayed before), they were either taken with a Fujifilm point-and-shoot (automatic) camera, or a (very old) Minolta 202-T manual camera. If no camera is mentioned, then it's the digital. Otherwise, I'll indicate which camera took which picture. To start the day off... Flowers! (you'll find that I like photographing flowers).
Photoblog for the amateur photographer and graphic-editing software challenged.
